Jonas is getting so big it's crazy. He weighs 17.6 lbs and im not sure how long he is. But here is a pic from when we first brought him home and a more recent pic. as soon as i take a pic of him in his carseat i am going to put pics up to compare how big he has gotten so you can better see the difference.

so me and jonas were in a car accident but we are both ok. the chick totalled my car so now i don't have a car. :( Im not going to make any actions with the insurance co. (which i can't anyways quite yet b/c they are waiting on the police report) until i get an attorney. all the pictures are on my myspace but here is what the outside looks like. im just glad that jonas is ok. i don't know what i would do with myself if he didn't come out of it ok.

Meet & Greet Baby Shower!!!

These are the pictures from the baby shower which was tons of fun. we played a game where you had to guess the nasty stuff that was in a diaper- diaper taboo. you had a partner who could sorta help you figure out what it was. it was great. mom and jackie had to guess how much water was in the bottles they had, acurately add formula and prepare the bottle while blind folded. i had so much fun and i hope that everyone had just as much fun. thankyou mom so much for throwing my baby shower!!!

Jonas Update

So Jonas is doing good. Had to quit breast freeding cause im drying up and i can't keep up with him. i chose to stop cause i want him to be on one or the other. it was really hard to give it up and i am struggling a lot with that disicion. we are back at home-same o same o. jonas has a really bad rash so that's pretty much the only thing that is stressing me out right now cause it really bothers me to see him in so much pain. might have to go to cloth diapers. the reason why i hadn't before was because i didn't want him to be super sensitive later on in life due to the fact that he wasn't exposed to the different chemicals and additives as a baby but turns out he's pretty sensitive already. well maybe i will post new pics soon if i go to moms so everyone can see how big he's getting already. he's trying to hold his head up for longer periods of time and can now roll to one side-sometimes. other than that he just gets really frustrated that he can't do what it is he wants to do. he's trying to grow up to fast. :(

ok so now we are dialated to three and a half cm. and we are scheduled for our next apt. on wed. unless the doctor can fit us in so he can induce us because my blood pressure has been kinda high the past couple of visits. he set up the appt. just in case. this friday is 38 weeks.....:)

so i am ready to just pop. im hoping that the doc will induce a little bit early because i am miserable. i throw up everything i eat and drink and it hurts my stomach so much each time and it's hard to get up and down from the toilet. :( next appt. is wed. more news then.

im so tired of being pregnant!!! it's 3:14 in the morning and i can't get any sleep even though im really tired and i have a doctor's appointment in the morning. bleh. still can't keep food down and the phenergen just knocks me out. we were at the labor and delivery room forever the other night cause i was getting sharp pains in my side and we wanted to make sure everything was ok. since i don't eat much and what i eat comes back up i thought something could be wrong. when we got there they hooked me up to a monitor for jonas (which took three people to try and get it right since he doesn't stay still for those cause he hates them) and one for my contractions. my contractions, which i didn't even know i was having, were 45 mins. apart and i was dialated about the size of her fingertip. so i guess about a cm. they made me drink 2 qts of ice cold water and they checked me again and my cervix had closed back up. im still concerned cause i keep getting contractions followed (or maybe still the contractions?) by a lot of pressure and pain in my vaginal area. :( doesn't feel good. we'll see what the doc has to say. well im gonna try and get some sleep.

sorry it has been awhile since i have posted. both me and kalani got a viral infection and it has just been downhill for me since. :( i still haven't stopped throwing up yet and now its even worse...pretty much anything i eat comes back up. i guess there's just no room for food in there while he's there lol. this friday is 35 weeks. so we are getting pretty excited. time is moving so slow now. my birthing classes through the hospital is on the 3 and 5th and then my next appt. will be on june 9th so im sure we will be talking birthing plans by then as i will be pretty much 37 weeks. i feel so unprepared lol. i haven't washed any of his clothes or packed a bag for the hospital. ehh....i have time right? right? lol.

THE CARLEE VIRUS

So does everyone remember the nasty stomach virus that Carlee gave us all the weekend of the GeoWoodstock? Well me and Kalani got one just like it, except that instead of only lasting overnight it lasted 48 hours. I was misserable. I was throwing up more than I normally do and with that came all the other icky stomach symptoms.
Also...an update on the pregnancy...my glucose test came back two points too high so now I have to go back to the doctor's office tomorrow to do a three hour glucose test vs the one hour I already had to do which is standard. Cross your fingers...hopefully I don't have gestational diabetes.

I forgot to say, and it's so funny, how Jonas acted at the appointment on Friday. So the nurse was checking his pulse with the ultra sound thingy and everytime she found his pulse you would hear a loud clatter cause he was kicking it and then hidding. One of the times it actually moved her wand thingy and it surprised her. lol it was so funny. me and Kalani looked at each other and said at the same time that he was definitely his son.
More news...today was my first day back to work and I am so tired...i didn't get a nap today
=) I feel good though to be doing something again and hopefully we can save up some money and finally move out.

Our Due Date..For Real This Time

Ok so we had our appointment yesterday and we asked the doctor our due date and he told us that it would be July 11 and that he was a healthy size...not too big or too small. =)

Ok...Kalani and I went and got registered at Target today but some of the stuff you can buy you have to get online. We are registered online as well. You just go to Target.com and put my name under the baby registry and a list will pop up of things that you can get online or in the store....it's all on one list. Its a long list...they seperate the items by category. Tomorrow I will post pictures of the things that we already have. =)

Our Theme

So we chose to go with the "Tiddliwinks" Jungle Bedding collection found at Target stores because it was one of the ones that we liked the best that had the most items within that theme. Im not sure if all of the accessories will be available at the store or if you have to go to the online store to get it. I will go to the Target here and see what selection they have and start up my gift registry. These are only some of the options that go with this theme in order:1) This is just the theme itself presented all together 2) Diaper Stacker 3)Hamper 4) Rug 5)Night-Light and Switchplate. I should be registered by either today or tomorrow.

Our Due Date

So we have our next appointment on wednesday and hopefully we will get a more acurate due date instead of having two. I am a little concerned because Liza, who also sees the same doctor, said that at her last appointment, she talked to a nurse and she said that Dr. Kemper had 17 deliveries that day and of the 17, 14 of them were c-sections. =( a little worried but i am going to stress that i want to have a natural birthing (with meds of course) unless it's the last resort.

So tomorrow we have our appointment to go and get our ultra sound done but we made a mistake...it's not at 7 in the morning it's at 7 at night so we won't know as soon as we had thought we would. I will post the pictures tomorrow and hopefully the baby will be in a good position so we can find out if it is a girl or boy. =)
